Level 2
Survey

 The standard choice for conventional homes in reasonable condition. This home survey gives you a clear picture of any defects, repairs, and maintenance issues you should know about before you buy.

Level 3
Survey

A step up in detail for larger, complex, or non-traditionally constructed properties, including conversions and homes built over 100 years ago. Includes advice on repairs and ongoing maintenance.

CCTV
Drain Survey

A camera inspection of your drains to identify blockages, cracks, root ingress, or collapsed sections. Often requested alongside a home survey when an issue is flagged or for older properties.

Housing Disrepair
Report

An independent RICS report documenting disrepair in rented housing, used to support tenant claims against landlords. Covers damp, mould, structural issues, and other hazards affecting the property.

Snagging
Survey

A detailed inspection of a new-build home to identify defects, unfinished work, and poor workmanship before your developer’s warranty period ends. Best booked shortly after completion.

Survey Hut began as a traditional RICS surveying practice, providing Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys for buyers across the north west of England. Over time, we realised that homeowners and homebuyers needed more than just one type of survey — they needed clear guidance, reliable expertise, and someone who could coordinate the right inspection for their property.

So we evolved.

Today, Survey Hut combines the reassurance of RICS‑qualified oversight with access to a wider range of specialist surveys. We work closely with a small group of experienced surveyors and technical experts — including our own team — to deliver high‑quality inspections across a broad range of property needs.
